Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili, Kapalua

Kapalua Bay
Kapalua bay is located 7 miles north of Ka’anapali.
- Merriman’s restaurant sits here
- A light sand, crescent shaped beach with lava rocks
- View of the sun setting over the water
- View of the other islands
- Beach parking lot with overflow parking across the street
- Public restrooms.
- Foot showers
- Recommended for sunset sessions
Ironwoods/Oneola Beach
Ironwoods beach is located 7.5 miles north of Ka’anapali
- A long stretch of unpopulated beach, with light sand, lava rocks and dramatic cliffs
- View of other islands
- The sun does not set over the water here, but you still get some nice color in the sky (weather permitting)
- May be windier than other locations
- Small beach parking lot (arrive early) and several stairs
- No restrooms
- Foot showers
- Recommended for sunset sessions
DT Flemming Beach
Dt Flemming Beach sits in front of the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua, 8 miles north of Ka’anapali
- A long, wide stretch of beach with tall trees.
- Good for large groups with plenty of room to spread out
- Black rocks at the edge
- The sun does not set over the water here, but you still get some nice color in the sky (weather permitting)
- Lifeguard tower
- Beach parking lot
- Restrooms and foot showers
- Recommended for morning sessions and sunset sessions
South Maui Locations
Kihei, Wailea

Po’olenalena Beach Park
Po’olenalena Beach is located 2 miles south of the Grand Wailea
- A long stretch of unpopulated beach; there are no resorts here
- Lava rocks and palm trees
- View of the sun setting over the water
- View of other islands
- Beach Parking lot
- Porta Potty’s
- No foot showers
- Recommended for morning and sunset sessions
Makena Cove | aka Secret’s Beach
Makena Cove is located 4.5 miles south of the Grand Wailea Resort
- Very beautiful, but, SMALL crescent shaped beach
- Palm trees and big lava rock formations
- It’s a small area, so best for couples and small families. It’s not uncommon for 2-3 photoshoots to be happening during sunset.
- Street parking only
- No restrooms or showers
