Maui surprise proposal photography might be one of our favorite things to photograph.  Devin was so nervous and excited when he called us to photograph his surprise proposal at the Montage Kapalua Bay.  He had great ideas and we were happy to help him implement his plan.  We discussed all the details including the timing, keeping it a surprise, the when, where, and how.  Devin put a lot of thought into making the entire day special and memorable.  They began the day with pampering spa treatments at Montage ending in plenty of time to get ready for a romantic walk on the beach at sunset (wink, wink).

Devin led Ashley out to the beautiful grassy bluff top of Kapalua Bay.  She was definitely surprised when Devin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.  Alandra, the photographer, blended in by pretending to take pictures of the scenery, but was actually capturing the whole thing!  After a few tears, and lots of hugs and kisses, Alandra introduced herself and continued the session capturing several engagement portraits and of course the ring!  They continued the celebration with dinner and drinks at one of Maui’s finest restaurants, Merriman’s.  Congratulations you two!!!  We can’t wait to hear about the wedding plans.  We are so happy for you both and wish you all the happiness this world has to offer!!!
