Maui Senior Portrait Photography

Providing senior pictures and grad photography is one of our favorite types of photo session. Graduating, regardless of what level of schooling you are finishing is a big accomplishment and we love celebrating you through photography.

For senior pictures and grad photography photoshoots, our preference, being on Maui, is at the beach. But, of course, it is your preference. The reasons we love the beaches here are the tropical trees and the beautiful sunsets and/or sunrises. If you opt for a beach photo session, we recommend the beaches on the West Side and South Side of the island.

Choosing to have your session on the west side, we have the option of Kapalua Beach, Ironwoods/Oneloa or DT Flemings. Each of these beaches has its own unique personality with different landscapes and views. The South side includes Po'olenalena Beach, Wailea Beach, Makena Surf and Maluaka Beach, with each of them personal favorite of ours. If the beach is not in the works for you, we are also more than happy to come to you at home, your school or another location of your liking.

And whether we meet at the beach or not, we suggest either a sunset photo session or one in the early morning because we will get better natural lighting without the harsh overhead light of midday and the shadows that is caused by it. Not very flattering for your skin.

In terms of the suggested clothing items, we feel you should wear whatever you feel good in and what represents you! It's always safe to go with solid colors because they photograph well and perhaps avoid the bolder patterns. Softer colors, such as your neutrals are a good choice. This could include greens, light blues, whites, soft pinks or even creams. We also recommend wearing any accessories that represent you, your school, the island, such as hakus or leis, or something personal that serves as a remembrance of your photoshoot. If we are photographing your graduation photos, then bring your cap and gown as well.

We are happy to have you do a few outfit changes as well.

For our Senior Pictures and Grad photography services, we shoot:

25 images for a 30-minute session
50 images for a one-hour session
75 images for a 90-minute session
